Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared pictures and stories from our family’s recent brunch outings to Einstein Bros. Bagels. Going out to breakfast or brunch isn’t something we do very often since my boys are in school and we have sports activities on the weekends, so we all enjoyed these special treats.

With all of the recent coupons they’ve been releasing, grabbing brunch doesn’t have to be expensive either! This week, “like” Einstein Bros. on Facebook and download a BOGO coupon on bagel thin sandwiches.

    We have a family breakfast on Sunday morning before church. We have the traditional eggs, bacon, toast,grits, and juice. Usually my husband cooks for everyone…which is wonderful.

    Our daughters favorite meal is breakfast for supper so we like to mix it up however we can to include that in the meal line up at least every couple of weeks…her first choice would be cheesy eggs and sausage!

    Special breakfast for a Saturday is nice. I like eggs with bellpepper, onions and cheese. a meat of any kind,biscuits, rice and fruit. Breakfast has always been a nice time to calm down after a busy week.

    My dad always used to make us a huge and I mean huge breakfast on Sunday mornings…pancakes, eggs, biscuits, and the list goes on!

    We love iced coffee! I make an extra strong pot of coffee every night before bed, and put it in the fridge overnight once it’s finished brewing. Over time, I’ve perfected it, and me and my boyfriend have gone from spending $5/day on iced coffee out to spending less than $5 per week. Now, not only are we saving a lot of money, but we actually prefer the home made stuff! It’s our daily breakfast tradition!

    To do it up for a breakfast get together I make a spinach leek quiche and my husband makes chocolate chip waffles. There is always then canadian bacon to go along. YUM

    We have no traditions! We used to go to Ihop every Sunday morning but then the economy problems hit! And well, we have no money anymore!

    I make my father in law’s waffle recipe as a special treat on the weekends. Usually, we just grab a homemade granola bar and go, though!

    I love to have all the fixings for breakfast burritos. With a huge platter of fruits and fresh squeezed orange juice! Yummy

    Where do I begin – I really liked co-co-wheats and toast when I was a kid. It also depends on my mood – I really like French Toast, but when we go out for breakfast, I also tend to like the Belgian Waffles with Fruit & Whip Cream. I would say at times brunch/breakfast buffets are almost the best because then I can have a little egg, a bacon, biscuits & gravy….
