Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared pictures and stories from our family’s recent brunch outings to Einstein Bros. Bagels. Going out to breakfast or brunch isn’t something we do very often since my boys are in school and we have sports activities on the weekends, so we all enjoyed these special treats.

With all of the recent coupons they’ve been releasing, grabbing brunch doesn’t have to be expensive either! This week, “like” Einstein Bros. on Facebook and download a BOGO coupon on bagel thin sandwiches.

    On the weekends for brunch it’s Dad’s time to cook for my family. He makes french toast (whole wheat bread dipped in whisked egg). We eat it with fresh cut up fruits and orange juice.

    In the summertime we like to go to our local park and have a picnic. During the wintertime we are always on a ski resort.

    My family’s all time favorite breakfast is biscuts and gravy! Not the healthiest I know but they love it when I make it for them. When I don’t feel like cooking on the weekends we head over to Cracker Barrell for a good southern style breakfast! yum

    Also, my brunch tradition includes mimosas. Yummo. I mix it with strawberry, mango, and any other fruit I can get my hands on. Definitely a great way to start your week off…

    Our main breakfast treat is Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls. My 7 year old twins eat all 8, so my husband and I don’t usually get any :). If we have a treat, as the adults, it’s usually Panera Cinnamon Crunch Bagels. Yumo!

    We make chocolate chip pancakes for special occasions. We like going to IHOP for breakfast out.

    We love to have breakfast for dinner. For traditional breakfast I make a full hot breakfast for the kids every morning before school. I hope they appreciate all that hard work when they get older. IHOP for breakfast! When we’re in South Florida we always Einsteins for fresh hot bagels, there is nothing better!

    Our weekly breakfast tradition is to have brunch after church on Sundays. It’s a quick meal…and very easy to add to at the last minute if we spontaneously invite people over.

    For the past year, my husband, daughter and I have been going to a family breakfast on Saturday mornings. We usually go to an awesome Mexican place in RR, TX. It’s a great way to start off our weekend together. I love it!
