What are your best frugal party tips?
Shop all the grocery flyers, go where a store will honor competetor pricing, have your coupon box with you, even if you don’t thing you will need it, there is something you will always come across that you wish you had all your flyers and your coupons. Then your company always want to bring something; let them bring their suggestion or offer them to bring their own drink. Offer party favors. Even men love party items. Good Luck Teams! Go Team! What are your best frugal party tips: buy when things are on sale and stash them away if you can, especially drink itmes, for me as the hostess I try to theme it and in doing that keep it simple, all dessert, all appetizers, ect. and then ask each guest to bring something from that category to share. Buy beverages on sale and mostly just enjoy!

I plan my parties at least a month or so in advance and try to think of receipes withing that month by using what I have already in my pantry instead of buying a bunch of items and spending a lot of money.

Shopping at Dollar General is how I get the most for the least money when getting ready for the Superbowl. I also look for deals throughout the year instead of waiting till right before the game. I am also an email subscriber.

My party tip is to just keep it simple – I am forever adding “just one more thing” and that can really drive the cost up!

My best frugal party time is to make and inexpensive but delicious main dish like Chilli and then let the rest of the guests bring a side dish.

My best tip is to watch the sales & coupons and start buying stuff in advance so you get the best deal and don’t have to shell out all of that money at once. Your site helps me save a ton of $$ and I really appreciate it! :)

I typically make a large portion of chili and then make a cheeseball, etc. For the SuperBowl I will have friends/family bring an appetizer to share…

THANKS for the opportunity to win!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
