My frugal tip is when hosting a party. Make it a Potluck! Have guest’s bring their own side dishes or deserts. I’ll provide the main dish and the drinks. It save’s a lot of money and time cooking in the kitchen. And it really works too!

I stockpile and always plan ahead for the deals so I can get everything for a party really inexpensive! I watch the deals on your blog and start shopping ahead of time. I’m always ready for a party this way! For the superbowl I have sabrett hot dogs I picked up b1g1f, lays bags of chips for $1 each, sour cream for dip for .35 for 16 oz., Farm Rich cheese sticks for $1.50 per big bag, hamburger meat for under $1 – $2 a pound, 12 packs of soda for $1-$1.50 a 12 pack (coke, pepsi, etc.)…. I can pretty much have a party on demand if I need to. My goal is to only spend about $50-$75 a week for groceries for a family of 4. I have two industrial size shelving units I use for my stockpiles and a big stand alone freezer. I always have food & groceries on hand to last 1 -2 months or more and to share with family members who are underemployed at this time:-) I buy nothing unless it’s on sale and/or I have a coupon:-)

I’m big on potluck events. Other than saving money, it’s always great to see what dishes others make.

When I host a party, I always make it a potluck! That way everyone can sample all sorts of goodies and I can make a dish that is affordable for my family. I also try to stock up on paper plates and plastic silverware when it is on sale. Thanks for the giveaway!

Saving Money, Have to go with the POT LUCK
Tammy
I use coupons and watch for snack items on sale!

My best tip? Make it potluck. Our friends and family always ask if they can bring something anyway, so I usually make the main course and fill in with a salad or dessert – or something that isn’t covered by the guests.

I almost always go potluck. It’s a great way to save time and money. And no one seems to be bothered by bringing something to contribute!

My best frugal party tip is to make it a potluck party. Then I use my stockpile of plates, cups and silverware that I have collected when they are on sale or have a great coupon. Even better is when I can take advantage of a sale and coupons.
