My best frugal tip when throwing a get-together is I shop sale for everything from napkins to paper plates. I try and look for things in neutral colors. Also, we keep a sharpie near our cups so everyone can mark his or her name on their cups.

I like to make a “sandwich bar” for parties when on a budget. Get sub buns, slice the buns into smaller pieces. Put the buns on a tray and Lay them out on a table along with your choice of meats such as ham, turkey and roast beef. Also lay out all the condiments needed for making a yummy sandwich; mayo, tomato, etc.. Let the guests go through and put there own sandwich together. Throw a couple bags of chips and some dip on the table and your good to go.

My best tip is shop at aldi’s for your snacks and like everyone else I ask my guests to do a potluck so we can all share in the expense and still have a nice variety.

Tip: I like to make my own chips and salsa buy a bag of corn tortillas of 90 count. cut them in quarters fry or bake them add alittle season salt makes bout 3 to 4 bags. I also make my salsa and guacamole. I picked up some platters from the .99 store and going to make my own platters with ranch and celery, carrots, cheese cut them in strips .
