Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!
Today is also the last day to enter to win $250 from Lottay.com!
Many of you have probably already heard of $5 Dinners, the blog written by my good bloggy friend, Erin Chase, that shares healthy, delicious, and affordable meals. And by “affordable,” I mean ultra-frugal — every recipe can feed a family for $5 or less!
If you’re already a fan of Erin’s or are now intrigued and interested to find out how you can prepare meals in your own home for $5 and under, you’ll be thrilled to find out that she recently published her own cookbook, The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook.
This cookbook is jam-packed with not only recipes that can be prepared for $5 or less but also step-by-step instructions and tips on how you can pare down your grocery bill and feed your family for less. This is a must-read for those of you trying to stretch your budgets right now or anyone just trying to save in some areas so you can spend in others!
And Erin’s hooked me up with a special treat for my readers:

My easy, go-to meal is pasta! Haha, not very complicated! To make it even easier, I’ve started browning several pounds of ground beef at a time (seasoning it with salt, pepper, onion, and garlic) and freezing it in small bags. When I want to put meat in my spaghetti sauce, I just have to pull out a bag of pre-cooked meat and add it to the sauce.
