Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

One of the most common questions I get about stockpiling is, “How do you manage your stockpile?” Frankly, this is something I still struggle with. My kitchen pantry is relatively small — certainly not large enough to house a stockpile that will sustain a family of seven. We have additional shelving, as well as an extra refrigerator and deep freezer in the garage, but I’ll admit that it’s difficult at best to keep tabs on everything.
So when Tiffany from Shelf Reliance asked if I’d be interested in trying one of their Cansolidator Pantry shelf units I jumped at the chance. Not only does it save space, but it also automatically rotates your stockpile, ensuring that products are used in the order of expiration. Furthermore, it alleviates the sometimes dangerous practice of stacking cans on top of each other. Have I ever told you about the time my husband dropped a can of peas on my bare pinky toe? Well, let’s just say it was not a pretty sight…
Now I just need to pick up a few more Cansolidator units to finish organizing. Luckily Tiffany has a great deal for us:
This week only, Tiffany is offering Deal Seeking Mom readers an exclusive 52% discount on the Cansolidator Pantry. Enter coupon code Save1 at checkout, which will bring the price per unit down to $21.49!

My pantry is small so i have to be very on top of things to keep it organized. usually what happens is other people go in there searching for snacks and moving things all over and the next time i look in i realize its a mess!

I can’t see the cans at the back of my pantry. I love the idea of using the oldest stuff first.

The hardest part of the pantry, for me, is rotation, which this tool will solve. You clean your pantry and stack everything so neat and then you add to it — usually in the front — and before you know it the things in the ‘back’ are expired. I would love to have one of these tools. I don’t buy a lot of bagged stuff, only because I don’t know how to organize it. Therefore, I stick with stockpiling mostly cans and boxes and only buying enough bags for 1-2 weeks.

I just remodeled my kitchen and have found that I need a better way to organize my canned goods. This would be awesome!

The hardest part of keeping our pantry clean is the small space that we have to work with.
Linda
The hardest part is keeping things organized so you use them before they expire. I frequently find things that have gotten shuffled around and are expired when I go to use them.

I think the hardest part is organizing everything with an even weight distribution. Since I’ve started stockpiling I have a lot more in the pantry and I’m not sure how much the shelves will hold! So far so good…

I subscribe to email. I have very little storage space, only a few shelves that I stack cans on. It doesn’t work well, especially with toddlers getting into them.

The hardes part of keeping my pantry clean, is having different size boxes and containers…cuz we buy what is free/cheap, we aren’t brand loyal. Therefore, the pantry always looks disorganized to me.

I have a large pantry but…..that makes it more difficult to rotate stock and clean.

I actually have an old fashioned “fruit room” so it is pretty big. I just went through the shelves and organized, and I think my biggest issues are stacking and rotating. Thank you for doing this.
Patricia
The hardest part about keeping my panty clean is when stacked cans fall over.
Sonia
Hi DSM! The hardest part of keeping the pantry clean is the lack of space definitely. I try stacking the cans to no avail and they end up falling out onto my t
ootsies. You always find the best solutions to things!
Katherine
Just organizing everything like stacks of cans.
Misty
The hardest part of keeping the pantry clean is the kids getting in there, grabbing snacks and knocking everything over and shuffling it all around. And not throwing away the empty boxes or putting bags of chips with only crumbs back in it! Horrible!

I need more pantry shelves in order to make all items accessible. This rack would definetly help with that
Patricia
The hardest part is forgetting about stuff and then “discovering” it again….all the while wondering if it’s past expiration. The best is when we think we don’t have something but we really do, and we don’t find out until we are restocking the shelves…
Amber
definitely cans
