I loved playing house when I was younger!

I loved to “clean up” by organizing all of my toys into a “store.” My mom hated this game, as it wasn’t really cleaning up, but I still have fond memories of my first ventures into retail. :)

my favorite imagination game as a child was to play “shipwreck” in our basement with my brothers and we’d pretend we were on a raft awaiting rescue! we’d have to make due withwhatever was on our raft!

I was a tomboy. I loved to play with bugs since I lived in the country with no one around. I am probably one of the few mothers who still picks up bugs to show to my kids.
Carin Cain
My most favorite childhood toy was a large cardboard kitchen set that I got for Christmas one year when I was about 3. My Mom said I played with that thing so much I literally wore off the colored parts making the kitchen unreconizable to others…….I loved it!

I always loved to pretend I was a superhero and would fly around the house in my cape. My poor sister ALWAYS had to be my sidekick, too.

One of my favorite memories was trying to dig a huge whole to make a “fish” pond. We didn’t really think that through because the hose would’nt reach to the pond to fill it and filling it with pitchers of water didn’t work because the ground soaked it up. We had over 10 neighborhood kids involved and it took the better part of a week. LOL
We barely came in the house in the spring and summer we always had so much fun playing outside.

I loved making up adventures with my Star Wars guys. Now, my son does the same thing! Thanks!

My favorite childhood game was “swing jumping”. My sister and I would do different “jumps” off our swings and then wrote a “book” about it! It kept us busy a whole summer!
