We cleared a trail far through the woods, then built a dam across a creek and rode our bikes on the trail and over the dam until we reached a deep revine. Then we swung on vines far out over the revine and had such a blast.

My favorite childhood game was a Treasure Hunt- I don’t think we were ever hunting for something in particular- just hoping to find treasure!

This reminds me of what we used to do when we were kids– only we made our playhouses out of appliance boxes!

/When I was very young my sister & I made “houses” out of large floor cushions. Later we played in an empty field & pretended we were jungle women, climbing trees, and making homes by tying tall grasses into domed shapes. It didn’t take much to amuse us for hours at a time.

We used to go in the basement and turn all the lights off, play a tape of music, and try finding eachother. Like hide n’ seek but in the dark and noone could talk.

When I was a kid we played all kinds of games. Make houses and forts out of tables, blankets, and boxes, play school or store, and we played a silly game called hide the shoe. Just like hide and seek except one person hid a shoe, and the rest of us had to find it:)

My favorite imaginative game growing up was being a princess with my sister. We are only 18 months apart and we would build forts in the living room using our parents king size flat sheets and phone books to hold down the sheets!!
