I always loved playing “house” as a child. I especially liked playing with my play kitchen which my mom saved from 20 years ago and now my daughter loves to play with every time we go to MiMi’s house.

My favorite imaginative game was Return of the Jedi. My two boy cousins & I would play in the piney woods near our house. I was Princess Leia of course and oneof them was Hans Solo and the other was Luke Skywalker. WE had guns from sticks and made traps for the storm troopers and everything. It’s one of my best childhood memories.

When I was a kid I loved playing outside on our swingset and in the sandbox. I’d always pretend to be out trying to survive on my own in the wilderness.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
