  • 63% of married women said they would prefer to catch up on an extra hour of sleep, watch a movie or read a book than have sex with their spouse
  • 31% of women reported that they had a better sex life before marriage
  • 14% of women have participated in sexting, while 17% have sent flirty email messages
  • 44% of women said the quality of their sex life has not changed since having kids
  • 23% of women have sex 1 to 3 times a month

    Hot dates are great! But if time and or finances don’t allow, we really LOVE it when the kids go somewhere and we just come right back home ALONE!

    My best couple tip for couples with kids is to always remember to keep the marriage first and put the other spouse before the kids. Without a healthy marriage, there will not be happy kids. Oh, and date nights are a must!

    I don’t really have any advice…but I could sure use some!! I guess taking time away from the children to do something you both enjoy.

    my best tip is to take time to plan time together. if you don’t time just slips away and before you know it you haven’t spent alone time with your husband in two months.

    Get a babysitter and have a night out on the town!!! Makes you feel young again when you don’t have to be back at a certain time!

    I am very fortunate that my babysitter lives right next door, my mother in law :) When we wanna spice things up a bit we just take him next door & spend a night at home together :)

    As a mom of three I can totally relate. We’ve been married for 13 years and can say the sex life went out the window after child number 2!! We’re lucky if we can spend time together once a month – normally not even that!! What we’ve found keeps the spark afire is ….
    About 3 times a year we will get a room at a local bed and breakfast or hotel. We’ll go out to dinner first and then have a night alone. Normally the kids can stay at the grandparents for one night. We’ve found this only helps the romance if we stay somewhere overnight – if we sleep at home I normally find something to clean or wash. When we go away we are forced to concentrate solely on eachother. And since we haven’t been on a vacation since May 2000 – these one night getaways are even more treasured! We only spend money on dinner and the room so it is much more affordable. We’re hoping when the kids get older we can get away for more than a night – it’s only been 10 years – what’s another 5?? :)
