Fashion Playtes is a cool new site that lets girls aged 6-12 years design their own clothes. Can you imagine the feeling at that age of wearing something you designed yourself? The easy-to-use online platform allows kids to add accessories like ribbons, graphics and ruffles to their clothing items. There is even an option to make a personalized label that will let everyone know who designed it!

    I actually have a degree in fashion design and merchandising but my children became a presence in my life before I had the opportunity to do much with it. My 5 year old is exactly like me and is so creative she would absolutely love the opportunity to design something of her own!

    When I was a kid I did, I loved those Barbie fashion plates you could mix and match outfits with. As an adult I know my taste isn’t really good enough, best left to the professionals.
