February 24, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

Fashion Playtes is a cool new site that lets girls aged 6-12 years design their own clothes. Can you imagine the feeling at that age of wearing something you designed yourself? The easy-to-use online platform allows kids to add accessories like ribbons, graphics and ruffles to their clothing items. There is even an option to make a personalized label that will let everyone know who designed it!

Two Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a $50 gift certificate to Fashion Playtes!

To enter, tell me if you’ve ever dreamed of being able to become the designer and designing your own wardrobe.

I have always been envious of people who had an eye for fashion and designing. There is a creative side of me that finds it interesting, but I have never had the talent to be any good at it.

When I was a kid, I used to dream of being a fashion designer. A friend & I spent many afternoons designing our store logo…I don’t think we ever got to actual clothing, but that store logo was mighty cool :) .

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
