Fashion Playtes is a cool new site that lets girls aged 6-12 years design their own clothes. Can you imagine the feeling at that age of wearing something you designed yourself? The easy-to-use online platform allows kids to add accessories like ribbons, graphics and ruffles to their clothing items. There is even an option to make a personalized label that will let everyone know who designed it!

    I’ve never cared for clothes beyond a pair of jeans and a Gap tee shirt, but my daughter is obsessed with fashion! She’s always drawing gowns and coming up with unique outfits using all the clothes in her drawers. She would love this! I’ve never seen it before! How cool!

    I used to think I would love to design my own clothes, but didn’t think I was creative enough. I did end up designing my wedding dress, and that was lots of fun!

    I have always been a “closet” designer. I made all of my prom dresses, usually took 2 or 3 other dresses and tore them apart to make a one of a kind dress. No one ever had the same dress that I did! Now I have 3 daughters and would love to that for them also, we’ll see!

    This is not my thing (I’ll leave the designing to someone else) but my 8 year old spends hours drawing out designs for clothes. She was LOVE this!
