Win-It Wednesday: Duo Binder and Slice Safety Cutter (10 Winners!)

April 14, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Duo Binder. All opinions are 100% mine.

I recently had the opportunity to test drive a new product called the Duo Binder. What makes this product unique is the fact that it combines the functionality of a 3-ring binder with an expanding file folder, with double elastic closures to keep everything securely in place. Check out the Duo Demo to see it in action.

Of course the first thought that came to my mind when I saw it is that it’s perfect for coupons! I’m a “file by insert” kind of couponer (more on this in an upcoming couponing series), so the expandable file is perfect for storing recent inserts by date. My plan is to purchase some baseball card inserts for filing coupons that I purchase for upcoming deals, as well as printable coupons.

Product Specs:
— 6 tabs/7 sections in the expanding file folder
— 1″ binder
— 6 graphic design styles to choose from plus black

Even outside of couponing, I can see this being a very useful tool for school-aged children. It’s kind of like the modern version of a Trapper Keeper. Surely many of you had one of those in school, LOL?

As I mentioned before, this is a prerelease product. This product is not available in store yet, but Duo Binder is offering a special price online for Deal Seeking Mom readers. Get 50% off your purchase and FREE shipping with the code dealseekingmom0410.

Duo Binder wants to send 10 lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers their very own Duo Binder so you can give it a whirl too. Plus I’m tossing in one of my very favorite coupon cutting tools, the Slice Safety Cutter.

To enter, just share your thoughts on the new Duo Binder. What do you like about it? Is there anything you would add or change?

Ten lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a Duo Binder and a Slice Safety Cutter.

To enter, tell me how you would use the Duo Binder. Is there anything you specifically like or don’t like about it?

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

Already registered and facebook fan! This is great! I think I need about 3 of these. 1 definitely for my couponing. But this looks like just what I need for my business. I conduct home parties and my fliers and order forms and catalogs are always getting dog-eared in my bag so when I am out and about, it’s embarassing to hand a flyer to the bank teller, etc. The other, I think I would use to keep track of my papers that I will need come tax time! (receipts, mileage log, invoices, etc.)
    Party On,
    Laura

I already subscribe and I am a fan on facebook..I think this is a cool product to help get organized and to keep my store coupons in and keep track of rebates! Plus to have a place to store all the weeks deals in one place. They should make this with a binder bigger then 1″ and I could use it for my coupons! Make a huge one so I can go back to only one binder! lol

Looks awesome – love the green one…the color of MONEY (saved, that is!) Would use not only to get my coupons organized but for my groupings by store which are difficult for me to keep up with and have with me at all times.

Although I’ve been tempted to transition to insert filing, I just don’t like it that way at the store, so I would use this for my college courses I’m taking!

I’d use it to file coupons and meal plans/recipes for the week. I like how durable it appears to be.

Oh WOW! I am somewhat of a school/office supply junkie and I love this! I am currently using 2 separate coupon holders: 1 for grocery coupons and 1 for retail/restaurant coupons. Sounds like I would definitely be able to combine them with this product! I love it!

I like the idea of having the filing and binder together. I abandoned so many couponing techniques, I need to try something new!

This binder sounds great! Right now I have all my coupons in a drawer in my kitchen and then I go through them weekly to see which ones I plan to use and I put those in a ziploc baggie in my purse. It is a pain trying to sort through them while going through the grocery store.

I would use it for storing coupons. I like the dividers and wish there were more! Thanks!

This would be great for coupon organization – just not enough sections for me.
