Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I always use moisturizer with SPF built in! I hardly ever wear makeup on a daily basis, mostly because I don’t make the time for it! I watch What Not to Wear whenever I can and love Carmindy!

    I never leave home with out mascara and lip gloss. With 5 kids I don’t have time for anything else and these two things still make me feel put together :o)

    I never leave home without eye liner (Unless it’s to go to Walmart. Then it doesn’t matter!)

    I wear it all! I love makeup but, unfortunately, if I leave the house without it, people ask me if I’m not feeling well. Yikes.
