Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I’m a huge fan of mascara, I can never go anywhere without it! I probably have about ten tubes in my stockpile, and that won’t even last me a year!

    I have to have undereye concealer on if nothing else before I leave the house every morning. I used other makeup but that is one thing I can’t go without!!

    I absolutely can’t stand to leave the house without wearing at least a little eyeliner! It helps me look less tired, haha :)

    I have fallen for cover girl tinted moisturizer. It is not to heavy or greasy. As I have gotten older-38 today! The tone/color of my skin has changed and this helps even it out with out a full coverage feel.
