Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I almost always wear make-up, but when I don’t, I HAVE to have my Silk and Shine lip balm! It’s the GREATEST! (The one thing I have to wear in make-up is my brush-on bronzer! Gives me a little color and a little dazzle! : ): )

    I love myself without makeup, but I also love date nights and dressing up for that. On a date night I would NEVER leave without mascara and eye shadow. If I’m in a rush, which is about 110% of the time, I at least do the eyes.

    I wont leave the house without some type of eye makeup, or else my eyes disappear behind my glasses.

    Brow pencil & eyeliner are the things I really need to use. My brows don’t show up at all unless I use something.

    I would NEVER leave home without my mascara and lip gloss on. NEVER – even if I am just going to the gym or to the pool!

    My first thing would be cannot go out without eyebrows done. Second is mascara, third is eyeliner.

    I do not go out without eye makeup on. Even if I do not have on foundation, or lipstick I have to have on my eye makeup.

    When I do put on makeup to go out, gotta have a light mineral makeup- it looks flawless. Mascara and a little blush for added color. Sometimes I’ll even do a lipgloss.
