Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    I’d like to wear makeup more often – I just get busy and forget and it never seems to stay on long especially on my eyes, so I’m very interested in this product of Carmindy’s that you mentioned.

    I hate leaving the house without my mascara on. I don’t even like going around the house without it on! I feel like my eyes look weird without it. Coming in a close second is my eyelash curler. That too is a must-have!!!

    I just turned 50 on the first day of Spring. I am not afraid of being 50, but I do want to take better care of myself both physically and mentally. I have not worn make up for at least 18 to 20 years. I just figured if I met someone he would have to like me the way I am, in reality I had no self esteem and felt as though nothing would help. Well I want to start putting making on for MY self esteem. Looking and feeling good is great for a person. So if I win this I will start here with making my self a litle more prettier in which I will feel more healthier.

    I prefer to wear Bare Minerals foundation to smooth out my skin’s appearance and cover up any redness. Second choice is definitely mascara for these next to nothing eyelashes I have.
