Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    If it’s a day with the kids, I’ll stick to moisturizer and chapstick. If I’m heading to work…I usually wear a full face of makeup but foundation, powder and mascara at the very least! :)

    I never leave home without a little eye liner on and mascara…they give my eyes such a pop even when I haven’t had a chance to shower or haven’t gotten enough sleep :)

    Im a fan on FB! And your email and your forum! :) You rock!

    Anyways the only makeup i dont feel right with out is something on my lips. Lipgloss, a light colored lipstick, or even just a shiny lip balm. Just gotta have something. It used to be I couldnt leave the house with out every bit of makeup on. Then I got married and he said i was beautiful with out it. So i dont wear it every day now. :)

    At the very least, tinted moisturizer and lipgloss. But I prefer foundation, powder, eyeshadow, blush, and mascara.
