Win-It Wednesday: Crazy Busy Beautiful by Carmindy + Makeup Kit (2 Winners!)

I’ve always admired Carmindy‘s effortless style and simple beauty tips on TLC’s What Not To Wear, so I was super excited to hear that she’s publishing a book, Crazy Busy Beautiful: Beauty Secrets for Getting Gorgeous Fast. As I expected, Carmindy delivers simple and easy beauty tips that will work for all women, but what really won me over were her “Moneysaver” tips liberally sprinkled throughout the book, like creating your own tinted moisturizer by mixing your regular foundation with a SPF-infused moisturizer and mixing a drop of red food coloring with a bit of clear lip balm for a quick and easy cream blush.

I also had the opportunity to try several cosmetics from Carmindy’s new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty line. My favorite is the Fast Fix Eyeshadow Base. My eyeshadow never seems to stay on very long, and this kept it looking fresh all day long.

    99% of the time I put on foundation before I leave the house. I am insecure about my complexion so foundation is a must. I usually wear lip gloss and mascara too, but foundation is my one must-have makeup.

    Lipstick is a must! Then I sweep my finger over my lips and add color to the bridge of my nose and cheeks. Don’t neglect your eyebrows ladies! I always add color to my eyebrows. Remember your eyebrows define your face.
