AfterSoles and CitySlipsCitySlips and AfterSoles
Like many women, I love wearing high heels, but inevitably after a few hours of dancing, I’m ready to take them off because my feet start hurting. CitySlips and AfterSoles are the perfect solution. They fold up compactly enough to fit in the smallest of purses, so you can just whip them out and slip them on — instant comfy footwear anywhere!

More About CitySlips and AfterSoles
Susie Levitt and Katie Shea developed the concept for CitySlips while living in New York City and attending NYU. With drive and determination, the pair consulted friends, professors and established professionals to make their vision a reality during their senior year of college.

i’m very picky with shoes because they MUST be both stylish & comfortable. Usually I go to the store needing a new pair of shoes and come back with nothing because I’m too picky!

I would say I pay attention to both style and comfort when purchasing shoes. The one exception – Vegas!!! My friends and I have an annual girls trip to Vegas. We go all out with our cute dresses and super high heels, but by the end of the night, my feet are dead. There’s even been a few times where some girls have walked through the casino barefoot! Since our next trip is coming up in March, I NEED these as to avoid any barefoot embarrasment. :)

I definitely worry more about comfort than style with shoes. I have weird feet and bad knees and have found that if my feet are uncomfortable it only goes downhill from there.
I have about five pairs of shoes that I wear regularly – work, church, gym, slippers and everything else. I also have a few pairs of specialty shoes (cheap flip flops for showers at camp, hiking boots, etc.). And I have a few pairs of shoes for when my current ones wear out.

i have about 25-30 pairs of shoes after recently downsizing. And style matters for a certain shoe that may go with a special outfit. For everyday shoes style does matter but equally so as comfort

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
