Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m a foodie at heart, so I love trying out new recipes. When I heard that All You, my absolute fave magazine, was publishing a cookbook, I jumped at the chance to review it. All You Eat Well, Save Big is filled with over 140 meals under $2.50 per serving, this is a fantastic resource for those of us trying to live within a budget. These recipes don’t skimp on meat, and are full of flavor.
I love the fact that the recipes have a reasonable number of ingredients. My eyes just glaze over when I see those ingredients lists that are ten miles long. And I also enjoyed the Smart Tips that are shared throughout the book, giving advice on choosing the perfect pot, quick and easy side dishes, how to pick the perfect produce, and much more.
Of course, what publication from All You would be complete without coupons? The following coupons are included in the back:
- $1/2 Jack Daniel’s Barbecue Sauce or EZ Marinader, exp. 12-31-10
- $1/1 Lea & Perrins Thick Classic Worcestershire Sauce, exp. 12-31-10
- $1/1 Marzetti Salad Dressing, exp. 12-31-10

I have you on my blogroll! (and have for a LONG time!)
Also one of my favorite chicken recipes is:
Buy some french’s fried onions – cheddar flavor. (I recently stocked up on the BIG cans for only $1.19 each – typically over $4 each!) Crunch them into fine pieces and take a piece of chicken and dip in water or egg whites then dip in crushed up cheddar onions. Bake at 350 for about 45 min. Totally delish!

We love russian potato salad: potatoes, peas, eggs, sausage or hot dogs, pickles all chopped up, add mayo, mix together, chill, and enjoy.
Thanks for this giveaway

Our favorite is homemade lasagna. I of course cheat and use boxed noodles and jarred sauce, but I doctor it all up with different cheeses, meat and more!

another easy/great recipe is absolutly simple but really filling and healthy.
Cook up some whole wheat/brown/long grain (read = healthy) rice. OPen a can of black beans, rinse.
Cut some chicken or pork into bite sized pieces.
Mix them all together…can be eaten plain or wrapped in a ww/high fiber tortilla.

Favorite recipe? Homemade red curry chicken with bamboo shoots because I can get it pretty close to the local thai restaurant. Our 2nd favorite is chicken tikka masala, but it’s not nearly as good as the Indian restaurant’s!

Roast in the crockpot!
