Win-It Wednesday: ALL YOU Eat Well, Save Big Cookbook (7 Winners!)

January 20, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

All You Eat Well, Save Big Cookbook

I’m a foodie at heart, so I love trying out new recipes. When I heard that All You, my absolute fave magazine, was publishing a cookbook, I jumped at the chance to review it. All You Eat Well, Save Big is filled with over 140 meals under $2.50 per serving, this is a fantastic resource for those of us trying to live within a budget. These recipes don’t skimp on meat, and are full of flavor.

I love the fact that the recipes have a reasonable number of ingredients. My eyes just glaze over when I see those ingredients lists that are ten miles long. And I also enjoyed the Smart Tips that are shared throughout the book, giving advice on choosing the perfect pot, quick and easy side dishes, how to pick the perfect produce, and much more.

Of course, what publication from All You would be complete without coupons? The following coupons are included in the back:

  • $1/2 Jack Daniel’s Barbecue Sauce or EZ Marinader, exp. 12-31-10
  • $1/1 Lea & Perrins Thick Classic Worcestershire Sauce, exp. 12-31-10
  • $1/1 Marzetti Salad Dressing, exp. 12-31-10
  • $1/1 Reames Egg Noodles, exp. 12-31-10
  • $1/2 New York Brand Frozen Products, exp. 12-31-10

A tried and true favorite here is my recipe for peachy chicken. Even my readers like it! It’s so different but so good, and since it incorporates fruit, kids tend to love it too:

Our family’s favorite meal is Potato Bake: Hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, chedder cheese, green onions, sour cream and corn flakes. It’s super tasty but also really fattening/lacking in nutrition so it’s something we only make during the holidays.
