Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m a foodie at heart, so I love trying out new recipes. When I heard that All You, my absolute fave magazine, was publishing a cookbook, I jumped at the chance to review it. All You Eat Well, Save Big is filled with over 140 meals under $2.50 per serving, this is a fantastic resource for those of us trying to live within a budget. These recipes don’t skimp on meat, and are full of flavor.
I love the fact that the recipes have a reasonable number of ingredients. My eyes just glaze over when I see those ingredients lists that are ten miles long. And I also enjoyed the Smart Tips that are shared throughout the book, giving advice on choosing the perfect pot, quick and easy side dishes, how to pick the perfect produce, and much more.
Of course, what publication from All You would be complete without coupons? The following coupons are included in the back:
- $1/2 Jack Daniel’s Barbecue Sauce or EZ Marinader, exp. 12-31-10
- $1/1 Lea & Perrins Thick Classic Worcestershire Sauce, exp. 12-31-10

We love this meal my Grandmother use to do with leftovers. Its what we always called dump chicken. You take a lg bag of mix frozen veggies and a box of noodles..put them in boiling water together..really when the noodles are done the veggies will be done also. Drain well and add 2 cans cream of chicken soup…or what cream soup you have on hand my DH likes the cream of mushroom with it and cream of onion is good….add 1 cup of cheese (whatever you have on hand works just fine) salt and pepper to taste one soup can of milk (if you are out of milk water will work just fine) mix well and bake covered at 350 for 25 min. Remove from over then add 1 cup cheese and crushed chips (or whatever you have on hand that needs to be used up to give the top a little crisp) put back in over for 15min…EAT…the kids will LOVE it!

Our favorite is chicken pasta.
You’ll need two cans of chicken breast, drained and chopped into bite size pieces,
six slices of bacon, chopped into bite size pieces. I use the precooked kind you nuke in the microwave.
Zatarain’s seasoning to taste
One box of tricolor rotini, cooked according to package instructions
shredded cheddar cheese to taste
no fat italian salad dressing.
Drain the pasta and place in a large bowl with the chicken and bacon. Liberally dust the whole thing with the Zatarain’s and stir well. Serve sprinkled with cheese and salad dressing to taste with a bread stick on the side. Fast and easy and cheap and makes a ton.
