Win-It Wednesday: $50 Einstein Bros. Gift Card (2 Winners!)

May 19, 2010 by Deal Seeking Mom

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

Einstein Bros Bagels

Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared pictures and stories from our family’s recent brunch outings to Einstein Bros. Bagels. Going out to breakfast or brunch isn’t something we do very often since my boys are in school and we have sports activities on the weekends, so we all enjoyed these special treats.

With all of the recent coupons they’ve been releasing, grabbing brunch doesn’t have to be expensive either! This week, “like” Einstein Bros. on Facebook and download a BOGO coupon on bagel thin sandwiches.

Today, two lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a $50 gift card to Einstein bagels!

To enter, tell me about your favorite breakfast traditions! What do you serve for a special breakfast at home? Where do you like to go as a family?

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

If you are reading this in your email or feed reader, please CLICK HERE to visit the original blog post to enter. Email entries will not be counted.

Methods of entry:

1. Leave a comment. Tell me about your special breakfast/brunch traditions.

2. Join the Deal Seeking Mom community on Facebook, where you’ll find more conversation, additional deals and a peek at the freebies I receive in the mail each week. Come back and leave me a separate comment letting me know you did.

3. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email. You must confirm your email subscription for it to be a valid entry! Leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

Prize:
(2) $50 Einstein Bros. gift cards

This giveaway ends at 8am EDT on Thursday, 5/20 and is open to all U.S. residents 18 years or older. I’ll use Comment Contest to select the winning comment. Winner will be notified by email and listed on my Giveaway Winners page. Winners must respond within 48 hours of notification to claim their prize. Good luck!

When I was little and would stay with my gramma, she’d make me bacon, white rice and toast for breakfast. It’s still my favorite breakfast but I can only eat it that way when she makes it for me.

We have a Texas-shaped waffle maker and look forward to Sunday mornings when we celebrate our Texas pride AND have delicious homemade waffles while we read the Sunday paper. It’s definitely my favorite day of the week!

I wouldn’t say we are big breakfast people…most times we are in a hurry to get out the door. My daughter does love scrambled eggs and bacon so I make those for her when I have the time.

My favorite breakfast tradition is popovers…everyone knows I’M the one who makes popovers and they’ve become and out of towner tradition. My family expects them from me whenever they visit. Its fun and they are easier to make than I ever imagined!

My favorite breakfast tradtion began when I joined the American version of the peacecorps, Americorps in November. Americorps Volunteers in my program are paid less than the national poverty level and cannot hold a second job– so I’ve had to learn to be thrifty (to say the least!) Each Sunday I wake up late and walk from my apartment to a local deli/diner. I treat myself to a bottomless cup of coffee. Its only one dollar and the place has various syrups and creamers. Making coffee at home is one thing but sitting in a diner reading my book and drinking coffee for a few hours is a ritual that I love!

My hubby doesn’t like breakfast foods very much but when we do go out for brunch we usually are sure to go somewhere with bagles as we both love them!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
