We usually use rechargeable batteries, but really only for our camera….and we have had those so long that they aren’t holding their charge like they used to. Other than that we use regular batteries on everything else….what a waste of money. The regular batteries die so quickly and it always seems to happen when we don’t have the opportunity to change them.

My camera uses up batteries really quick.

With the money I have spent on batteries I could have bought a really good camera.

I try to use rechargeable batteries. When my nephew was born my camera died right when he was dressed up in a little suit for his first pictures. I had to take a picture with my phone.

We use rechargeable batteries for the most part, too, and I always look for sales. We stocked up on AA’s at staples last month, so we’re good to go for a while!

I bought a battery tester because I found that sometimes not all the batteries in something are bad, so now I can get a little bit more use out of some. I had my camera batteries die, but luckily the amusement park I was at carried the one I needed. I now carry extra batteries in my car!

We live in a battery-powered world don’t we?! To save a little money I use “cheap” batteries in things like flashlights and toys and save the more expensive lithium batteries for the camera and other digital equipment. These little energi-to-go products look great! Thanks for the giveaway!

Well lately, it’s been buy in bulk. Buying large packs of batteries so my family and I won’t ever run out. And I won’t hear the kid’s say. Mom I need a new battery for my toy!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
