I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!
I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.
I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:
- Diamond Edition combo pack
- The Making of a Masterpiece collector’s book

Cinderella. I remember watching it in Kinder and thought she was the most beautiful princess ever. With two girls 5 and younger, we watch it at least once a month. I love having an excuse to pop it in guilt free :)

My favorite disney movie is Bambi. My mom took me to see it in the movie theatre when I was five years old. We both fell asleep. The story that is still retold makes this one my fave!

We watched Sleeping Beauty constantly when I was little.

The first Disney movie I can remember seeing was The Aristocats. I loved little Marie – the white kitten – but especially the scene where she and her brothers sing while dancing on/playing the piano – it’s always been my favorite. I think I’ve seen it at least 50 times since! IMO the old Disney films are the best – they just haven’t been able to recapture that magic from the classics in today’s feature films.

The first Disney movie I ever saw was actually Snow White. I remember seeing it in the theater with my parents. The strange thing was that I knew the story and what was about to happen, and when Snow White was about to bite the poisoned apple, I always had to go to the bathroom. This was with every Disney movie I saw until I was eight. Same thing happened with Sleeping Beauty. Every time the evil villain was going to do the heroine in, I guess I got nervous and missed the climax to the film. I never saw an entire Disney cartoon til I was ten.

I also have a special place in my heart of Snow White; when my daughter was 3, she was a beautiful Snow White for Halloween!
