Win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set (valued at $190!)

October 11, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

SW Collector Ed
I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!

I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.

I’ve got a special treat for all of you Snow White and/or Disney fans out there!

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Snow White Limited Edition Collector’s Set, valued at $190, which includes:

  • Diamond Edition combo pack
  • The Making of a Masterpiece collector’s book
  • 8 piece character pin set
  • 7 piece lithograph set

To enter, tell me which Disney movie is your favorite. Do you remember when you first saw it? How many times have you watched it over the years?

Little Mermaid is still mine. I remember a French project in high school where we had to make a puppet play. I watched the entire movie, transcribed it, translated it to French, then cut it down to a 15 minute presentation. It was hard work, but well worth it! And of course, my older brother watched too because he loved Ariel. I’m sure my son will simply fall in love with her too!

Bambi was the first classic Disney movie I watched and I cried a lot when his mom died. I think I’ve watched it at least 3 or 4 times!

My favorite is Finding Nemo. . . .I remember the first time I saw it. It brought about so many emotions, however now that I am a mom. . . .I think it doesn’t have a very positive outlook on dentists. I remind my son at that part that it is just a movie!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
