I mentioned last week how excited my 3-year-old daughter was for the remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to come out, and she was not one bit disappointed. I think we watched it 4 times the first day and at least once a day every day since. I loved watching her take such delight in a movie that I loved as a child, and I even noticed a few things that were new to me — like the fact that Snow White is wearing clogs at the beginning!

I’m also thrilled that Disney is offering the dual DVD/Blu-ray combination pack. I recently cashed in my Swag Bucks for a Playstation 3 so we now have the ability to view Blu-ray movies in our living room, but we still have the DVD edition that we can pop in the DVD player in our car for those long trips.

    My favorite is Cinderella. I first watched it when I was in Taiwan as a little girl, so when we immigrated here, I associated Cinderella with USA.

    Sleeping Beauty. I know that I watched it every morning when I was four because my mom was exhausted from being up all night with my infant brother and I would wake up at four when he finally fell asleep and she would lay next to me on the couch sound asleep and the VCR would play…

    My mother first introduced me to Snow White around the age of 7. Immediately I fell in love with the idea that some day my white horsed prince would come sweep me off my feet. I was a bit of daydreamer and lived in a fantasy world. Today I am still in love with Snow White and now have a 7 yr. old daughter of my own. She owns the copy of Snow White but it is VHS (thanks mom) and we watch it over and over because I want her to enjoy the innocence of being able to dream big. I believe all little ones should dream big and go live it someday, especially in this world we live now. I hope I will be the recipient winner of the collection so I can pass it on to my grandchildren soon and still enjoy it with my daughter. If not whomever wins congrats and don’t bite the apple! DREAM BIG!

    I love Disney Movies. My fave would have to be The Little Mermaid. I watched that movie over and over as a kid. Snow White is another great and would be an awesome addition to any collection.

    we love Disney movies in our home. Our current favorite is the New Hannah Montana movie but the cartoons also get watched often.

    my favorite disney movie is cinderella. i used to teach a whole unit on the various cinderella stories from all over the world. i love all of the different incarnations.
