If you’re looking for a truly flexible gift that’s a little more personal than cash, Sears’ new gift cards may be the answer. Now, you can use your Sears gift card at Sears, Kmart, The Great Indoors and Lands’ End, making it easier for recipients to find something they want or need!
Sears sent me a $200 gift card to experience the flexibility that it offers firsthand, and I have to tell you, it really was that simple. I was able to shop from the comfort of my own home (in my PJs I might add) and check off a good portion of the items that were on my Christmas gift list.
Would you like to see what I got?

I’ve mentioned before that we have a tradition of buying our kids new jammies that are a present from Mom and Dad that they receive on Christmas Eve, so I was able to pick up five pairs of fleece pajamas (2 pink and 3 green) from Land’s End. These should make for some cute Christmas morning photos!
I was lucky enough to get 25% off and free shipping, so that left me a decent amount to spend at my next stop, Kmart.

I was able to pick up the last two items we needed for our two oldest boys’ main gift of the year — a PlayStation 3 courtesy of saving up my Swag Bucks! I had just enough to score this cool metallic blue PS3 controller and the component cables to hook it up to the TV.
I honestly had no idea that Sears gift cards could be used anywhere else other than Sears prior to working with them on this project. Being able to shop multiple stores is not only convenient, but it makes a Sears gift card a good choice for a family gift because you’re sure to find something for everyone between the four stores you can use it at.
But why not try it for yourself? Sears didn’t want to leave my wonderful readers empty handed, so two lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a $50 Sears gift card so they too can experience the convenience and flexibility!
To enter, tell me whether you prefer to shop online or in the physical store!

I so prefer online shopping over B&M – as long as I know what I am getting is what I want – why fight crowds and traffic! Sometimes it is cheaper for the delivery guy to bring me the stuff than for me to go out and get it! Who knew! Thanks!

I prefer going to the store. I will shop online, but i like to see what I am buying before I buy it. I don’t mind buying books or cds online.
Shar
I like both! When I know I can go to a store and buy it without shipping, I will. But I love Amazon for books, especially when I’m shipping to friends.
Lesley
I LOVE the convenience of online shopping. As a mother of 4 children, it is very difficult to get out to the stores. I also love that it comes right to our door! I love seeing all the deals too on free shipping, etc. Thanks for all your help! I have saved so much money since I’ve begun reading your blog. :)

It depends: I prefer to buy fitted things (clothes, shoes, sheets etc) at the store but most other things I prefer to buy online.
Michel-lee
I prefer online shopping if my item is “in stock”. If not, then I hurry to the stores in search of what I need. So, I basically do both. Don’t you just love the holidays :o)
christina
what a great giveaway!! i hope i win- thank you!!
Chris
I love reading the deals from Mom Seeking Deals. Then I hit the stores. I’m retired and I love getting out among people for my shopping.

I like shopping in stores because I procrastinate( I hate lines, bringing 4 kids, rude people and not finding what u want until you’ve gone to 100 stores) online is awesome but, by the time I shop, shipping would be a million dollars to get it before Xmas. I just started couponing this year, so next year I plan on putting part of my awesome savings in an account to buy presents. Hopefully next year will all be on line.
Emily
I love shopping online…who wants to go outside in the cold Wisconsin winter?
