To celebrate Mega Savings Event that runs at Kroger through September 2nd, General Mills and PepsiCo issued a challenge through My Blog Spark to see just how much the Deal Seeking Mom readers can get with $30.

I wasn’t able to head to the store myself because of my last-minute foot surgery last week, but Alyssa from Kingdom First Mom got everything pictured above for $33.29. Check out her post for information on how she saved over $100!

    Yoplait Yo-Plus is free after coupon and e-coupon, and Lifewater is free plus profit with a bogo coupon. Yoplait Delights are also part of the sale, $.74 after coupon!

    I buy the Sobe Lifewaters and Tea in the mega sale event makes them .49; stocked up on fruit snacks; and baking mixes. Love the mega events with $5 off. I made several trips during the past two weeks..stocking up. One trip was $32.26 and according to the kroger receipt total savings of 66% (all coupons: store/bonus/plus card).

    I have been a little stressed with my husband in Kansas City and I am in Ohio with 5 kids, so I have been enjoying the Sobe energy drinks. They really hit the spot!

    I love the fruit snacks, you get them for cheap and if you buy the right amount you even get money back.

    The best match up I see is the cascadian farms- got a KRoger coupon in the mail for these and the Wanchai Ferry- with a $2.00 off coupon!

    I just shopped and got 3 bags of granola nuts cluster free and made 0.03 overage and got 2 4 packs of Yoguart free and made $0.26 on each one!!

    I love the Honey Nut Cheerios deal! I’m not sure if I’m doing the math right… is it $1.99 before or after the instant savings? If it’s before, then it would be $1.99 – $0.50 instant savings wyb 10 items – $0.55 Honey Nut Cheerios printable – $1 Honey Nut Cheerios via CellFire (if the registers still stack CellFire and manufacturer coupons) = better than free! Even if it’s $1.99 after the instant savings, then it would still only be $0.44 for one box!

    Strange my first comment didn’t show up. Maybe I forgot to press enter. I would love to be entered. My favorite mega event item is kind of boring it is the Fiber One Cereal. There were coupons for $0.75 off a while back that made the cereal $0.50-free. My girls like it for breakfast. Thanks again : )

    We like to “stock” up on Sobes. $5 gets just over a weeks worth. But this week my best coupon match wasn’t with the mega event. It’s the $3.49 Wisk with the $1.50/2 coupon. Good laundry soap at cheap laundry soap price!
