To celebrate Mega Savings Event that runs at Kroger through September 2nd, General Mills and PepsiCo issued a challenge through My Blog Spark to see just how much the Deal Seeking Mom readers can get with $30.

I wasn’t able to head to the store myself because of my last-minute foot surgery last week, but Alyssa from Kingdom First Mom got everything pictured above for $33.29. Check out her post for information on how she saved over $100!

    My husband eats Cinnamon Toast Crunch like it’s going out of style… so, I’d have to say that this will be my favorite item since I’m going to have to restock this week. I bought 12 boxes nearly 3 months ago and all 12 are gone. I don’t know how he doesn’t get sick of it :p

    My favorite deal has been the Betty Crocker fruit snacks which are a treat my children love! I’ve been buying them in fives (paired with 5 other items in the promotion), in separate transactions so that I can also get the $3.50 catalina. I’ve been rolling the catalina and using coupons and getting these for essentially free! Today I even paired the 5 fruit snacks with 5 Nature Valley Granolas and got catalinas for both!! Yippee!!

    My fave has to be the BC Warm Delights. Why? They have the possibility to be free with the right Q’s. :D

    fave item is the sweet and salty granola bars… best coupon deal is the tostitos with the $1.00 off all you coupon, because its hard to find it seems and it makes them a little over a dollar!

    My favorite deal was the fiber one yogurt because I had some 1.35 off coupons making them around .65 cents!

    My favorite deal was Stacy’s chips. I love her Natural Pita Chips. But $3.50 is way too much for me to spend on a bag, this week they were just $1.50. Much more reasonable.

    My favorite deal is the Betty Crocker fruit snacks. I have purchased over 100 with the coupons from the sunday inserts. I donated most of them to the local school for the weekend food backpack program. I love finding deals and sharing them with others.

    I just went to Kroger, I saved 145.00, spent 60.00! yahoo…My favorite find was the Organic cereal and granola bars, also the fiber one bars…My fav!!

    My favorite is def the granola bars. I honestly love any kind and any brand. I love the fact that they are nutritious and taste great.

    The best item for me was the Pepsi products 2 liter- ended up 49cents each.

    I don’t know about the best coupon deal because the few items I wanted, I didn’t have coupons for.
