$30 Kroger Gift Card Giveaway

August 28, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

Kroger Deals
To celebrate Mega Savings Event that runs at Kroger through September 2nd, General Mills and PepsiCo issued a challenge through My Blog Spark to see just how much the Deal Seeking Mom readers can get with $30.

Summer-2009-046-300x186

I wasn’t able to head to the store myself because of my last-minute foot surgery last week, but Alyssa from Kingdom First Mom got everything pictured above for $33.29. Check out her post for information on how she saved over $100!

Today, I’ve got another $30 gift card to give away to one lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader!
Be sure to read through the Mega Event Sale posts to get an idea of what’s on sale and how to stretch your dollars and then tell me what your favorite sale item is this week.

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

Methods of entry:

1. Leave a comment. What is your favorite sale item from this week’s Mega Savings Event? What’s the best coupon matchup you see?

2. Use the Mr. Linky below to share a post on your blog that highlights the best deals and scenarios you’ve found throughout the Mega Savings Event! You’re welcome to link to your scenarios/matchups OR photos from your shopping trip, but only one link per person, please!

3. Send out the following tweet on Twitter. Be sure to come back and leave a separate comment letting me know you’ve done so.

Win a $30 Kroger gift card from @DealSeekingMom, General Mills & PepsiCo by sharing your best deals & steals. https://tinyurl.com/klsn87

Prize:

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on Saturday, 8/29. I’ll use Random.org to select the winning comment. Winner will be notified by email on and listed on my Giveaway Winners page. Good luck!

I stocked up on the Betty Crocker cookie and brownie mixes. Ya, so they aren’t the healthiest, but when you have to throw together a dessert, they aren’t that bad! I had my printed coupon, plus my shortcuts coupon plus my cellfire coupon. Not a bad deal in the end!

My kids are crazy for the Nature Valley Nut clusters and they are a great portable snack during this time of sports practices and games. When you combine the Cellfire ecoupon with the printable Man Q each bag is only .49!

Some of our Middle TN Kroger stores are matching Harris Teeters super doubles. Now THAT is the way to maximize the Mega Savings Event!

My favorite items was the general mills cereal. I bought a fruity cheerios and a plain one. I can mix them both for a yummy toddler snack. I found several coupons for this cereal. The best part was using cellfire to load coupons straight into my ralphs rewards card. Thanks for the tips dealseekingmom & kingdomfirstmom =)

No house with a toddler is complete without Cheerios. I think they must’ve actually been created by a mother. :D

For my family, it’s definitely the Nature Valley/ Quaker Bars. We fly through boxes of those around here. My boys love them for a snack or a part of a meal. I did the Mega Deal last week at Kroger and saved over 70%. I got about $40 worth of stuff for about $12. I love when they run these deal!!!
