Fortune cookies have a special meaning for my husband and me. I gave him a hinged silver-plated fortune cookie Christmas ornament with a custom fortune inside on our wedding day. So I instantly fell in love with these fortune cookie necklaces when I first saw them, and they’re just as precious in person.

Choose from seven preprinted “fortunes” or create your own message up to 28 characters. Amy even makes Itty Bitty Fortune Cookies that would be a perfect choice for a preteen.

More About Amy Peters’ Studio
Amy Peters has been creating her inspirational word jewelry for the past 15 years in sunny California and has become a leading name in fashion. I gave my boyfriend (now husband) a matted collage of pictures we took during one of our first dates for Christmas. It includes the dates and hand-written conversations we passed to each other. He now has it hunger up in his study! :)

Once for my moms birthday I wanted to give her something hand made and from the heart. I just worked a full day and had to work again early the next morning. I stayed up all night making her flowers homemade. I cut all the little pieces of crepe paper out. Twisted and tied them up into this sad pathetic bouquet. I gave it to her on her birthday and she loved it. That is what I wanted, I wanted for her to know that I love her and would rather give her something from the heart instead of buying something ready made.

I took my friend on a much needed vacation. She had worked hard and given so much to others, but did little for herself. I was happy to take her out for a fun, stress-free weekend.

My grandmother told people I was her sunshine so I found a music box that played You are my Sunshine and gave it to her for Christmas. She has been gone for many yrs now, but I play it at Christmas time.

I have a dear friend who has always been there for me, helped me with my seven children when they were small, was there when my parents passed away, and supported me through a divorce, for Christmas one year I wanted to let her know how much i appreciate her friendship so for the 12 days before Christmas I gave her one gift for each of those days and each gift had a special meaning for her and I. What a pleasure it was for me to see the expression on her face each day as a gift arrived from me.

The most memorable gift I gave was…..to my husband. I printed out all of our emails to each other and poems that I had written during our long (and long distance) courtship then I placed them in a beautiful scrapbok for him. We both love having this wonderful artifact of our early times together! It’s especially cherished as I have never made another scrapbook since, and we have 2 kids!!! Bad mommy!!!!

When my husband got married, I gave him a small pewter envelope that had a red heart on the front and said “I Love You” and on the back I had engraved “I’ll Wait For You” because he was about to leave for basic training. He carried it with him until he lost it in Iraq earlier this year. Now that he’s home, we keep going through his gear every now and then, hoping to find it because we were both so upset when he lost. Even if we don’t find it, it’s a little something we’ll never forget.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
