Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m always looking for new and improved ways to organize my coupons, so I was excited when Amy Bergin, creator of The Couponizer, asked if I’d like to test drive one. The first thing I noticed about The Couponizer is that it comes with everything a beginning coupon user needs: spiral-bound coupon booklet with coupon pockets, coupon-sorting pad, shopping list, savings tracker, scissors, and a handy clear plastic pouch to store it all. This is a fantastic way to get comfortable with using coupons and learning what works for you as far as sorting and storing them.
Now I’ve mentioned in the past that I use the file-by-insert method, so you might wonder how a product like this could work for me. As it turns out, it’s actually the perfect supplement to my current method.
I’ve always had a hard time organizing my printable coupons and other loose coupons that I receive in the mail. The Couponizer is great for sorting these coupons that I have a tendency to forget about, and it also has pockets for my store loyalty cards, as well as folders for storing coupons I plan to use in a given shopping trip. There’s also a folder for coupons to use at checkout, so you can move them over when you actually place the item in your cart, and a folder to store expiring coupons so you can make sure they’re used in a given month.
Five lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a Couponizer!

Currently I have a small file folder and sort them according to when they expire. I originally tried to sort according to product (dairy, breads, etc) but that never worked well. I just have no idea what is the best way to do it!

I use a binder that is has 5 different folders for inserts, internet and Misc. Then when I go shopping I organize my list and coupons into smaller envelopes for each store. I also have an envelope for coupons I want to “check” on to see if they are worth getting an un-needed item. When I decide on buying anything I have a coupon for I put that coupon immediately into a seperate envelope so that when I check out I know I have all coupons needed.

I was using the binder method with the baseball card inserts for awhile but I haven’t kept it up lately. Now I just keep my RP’s and SS’s in a folder with the date on them and when I look through sales ads I cut out corresponding coupons and put them in an envelope in my purse to take to the store. Need a better method though because I do like carrying all my coupons around for a ‘just in case’ find like something on clearance.

I keep my coupons paperclipped in groups where I find the item in the store and then stuff them in an envelope. I would love to be more organized and have some kind of storage with a better system. :)

I keep all my coupons in a tote-bag. I keep all the newspaper coupons in a file folder in the bag, in date order, and periodically go through to get rid of expired ones. As for the loose coupons, I picked up an organizer at Target, but I seem to not keep track of the loose ones very well.

all of the above :) I have a binder, a small coupon organizer I keep in my purse and a box that I keep all my general food coupons in. I use an envelope to keep my CVS and Walgreens deal coupons in separate from all my other coupons.

I use a small folder and have them seperated by store, catagory or item with paper clips. I just started couponing and with 4 kids under 8 my method is failing me. Spills happen often and its a disaster to clean up and re-sort. I would love to try one of these! I visited the wbesite and the description is wonderful!

I sort and store my coupons in 2 4×6 file boxes with dividers. My categories are alphabetized and some sections have subsections to help me find them even easier.

I bought this accordion file carrier from Office max. It has handles so it’s easy to carry. I use envelopes for each category and put them long ways up in each section. I write what category each envelope is on the top of each envelope. This way the top of the envelop works as an identification tab and it’s easy at a glance to pull the right envelope out of the file. The carrier is even big enough to hold flyers and inserts. I can put manilla file folders in it and take them out as I need them for example when I want to file rebate forms. It fits in the top of shopping carts and if it gets too fat I have a dog collar I can connect through the handles to keep it closed.
