Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m always looking for new and improved ways to organize my coupons, so I was excited when Amy Bergin, creator of The Couponizer, asked if I’d like to test drive one. The first thing I noticed about The Couponizer is that it comes with everything a beginning coupon user needs: spiral-bound coupon booklet with coupon pockets, coupon-sorting pad, shopping list, savings tracker, scissors, and a handy clear plastic pouch to store it all. This is a fantastic way to get comfortable with using coupons and learning what works for you as far as sorting and storing them.
Now I’ve mentioned in the past that I use the file-by-insert method, so you might wonder how a product like this could work for me. As it turns out, it’s actually the perfect supplement to my current method.
I’ve always had a hard time organizing my printable coupons and other loose coupons that I receive in the mail. The Couponizer is great for sorting these coupons that I have a tendency to forget about, and it also has pockets for my store loyalty cards, as well as folders for storing coupons I plan to use in a given shopping trip. There’s also a folder for coupons to use at checkout, so you can move them over when you actually place the item in your cart, and a folder to store expiring coupons so you can make sure they’re used in a given month.

I store my coupons in baseball card sheet protectors in a binder. This allows me to see each individual coupon and arrange as needed so I’m not scrambling at the check out counter or holding up people in the aisles looking for a coupon I hadn’t planned on using.

I store mine in an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper folded in half :( Saw a glitzy evening purse in the thrift store and had the idea of making one of those into a snazzy coupon holder…if only i were more craft-enabled. lol
Melissa
I use a zippered binder.
Ann
I stuff them in my purse. Dont recommend this method ; ) !!!

I’m a mess! I really need an organizer. My are in a shoe box in no particular order. I make a list of what I need and sift through the coupons matching them to the list. Then I get into the store & see a deal & think… bummer, I’ve got a coupon for that in the car.

I use a pencil box to store my clipped coupons. I go through this box every week to eliminate my expired coupons. For my coupons still retained in inserts I use binders with plastic pocket dividers and label each folder by date. Lastly, I use a regular folder to store my unclipped printed coupons. I am still working on new methods that would be more efficient, but for now this seems to work for me pretty well. I have been wanting to purchase the couponizer and give it a try for a while so the opportunity would be nice. I also subscribe via email. Thanks!

I store my coupons in 3 small expandable files.

I use a basket that’s about shoe box size but sturdier, and I file them with envelopes as the dividers. It works well for me, but I’m always willing to try something new!

I have several coupon organizers based on areas within the store (i.e. dairy) and then divided into more specific categories (i.e. cheese, yogurt, etc.). Also, all sections are in order of expiration date. I hope that makes sense without seeing it! I cut all my coupons and always end up carrying ALL my coupons with me in a large recyclable tote bag. I think the Couponizer would be a helpful blessing! :)

I keep mine in a small expandable folder. I am in the process of setting up a binder with baseball plastic sleeves.
Colleen
I store mine in a binder with the baseball card holders for coupons, clear binder envelopes for store specific coupons, and folders for ads and lists.
Nora
New to the coupon saving idea. Looking for ways to cut back and save some $$. I need a way to organize my coupons. So far I am just sticking them in my purse and fumbling around with them. Not working…looking for something like this coupon organizer.

Email subscriber! I keep my inserts in an accordion folder, I have a small coupon organizer that fits in my purse, and I have a separate binder (with baseball card sleeves) for my expired coupons. There’s one store in my area that accepts expired coupons for up to one year…so i like to hang on to those!

I have a small binder that separates the coupons by category – dairy/frozen, meats, snacks, side dishes, household supplies, pet….kinda like the way things are organized in a circular!

I use a makeup bag with envelopes as an orgnanizer…It works really great as a “file” and doesn’t stand out when I go in a store.

I keep my coupons in a drawer and take them to the store in my wallet. Not really the best method ever. :)
