Win-It Wednesday: The Couponizer (5 Winners!)

June 16, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’m always looking for new and improved ways to organize my coupons, so I was excited when Amy Bergin, creator of The Couponizer, asked if I’d like to test drive one. The first thing I noticed about The Couponizer is that it comes with everything a beginning coupon user needs: spiral-bound coupon booklet with coupon pockets, coupon-sorting pad, shopping list, savings tracker, scissors, and a handy clear plastic pouch to store it all. This is a fantastic way to get comfortable with using coupons and learning what works for you as far as sorting and storing them.

Now I’ve mentioned in the past that I use the file-by-insert method, so you might wonder how a product like this could work for me. As it turns out, it’s actually the perfect supplement to my current method.

I’ve always had a hard time organizing my printable coupons and other loose coupons that I receive in the mail. The Couponizer is great for sorting these coupons that I have a tendency to forget about, and it also has pockets for my store loyalty cards, as well as folders for storing coupons I plan to use in a given shopping trip. There’s also a folder for coupons to use at checkout, so you can move them over when you actually place the item in your cart, and a folder to store expiring coupons so you can make sure they’re used in a given month.

Five lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a Couponizer!

Through 7/31 you can get $1 off any order at The Couponizer. Just enter coupon code SUMMER10 at checkout!

To enter, tell me how you store and keep track of all your coupons. Do you have a binder, a coupon wallet, a bag?

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

I use one of the cheap accordian holders I got from walmart. I have always thought about getting the couponizer, but could never afford it. I would LOVE it if I won this!!! :)

I’m pretty new to couponing (maybe 2 months) and I’ve been using a cheap dollar store accordian file, and then a business envelope to hold my extra bucks/register rewards/receipts and coupons for a particular shopping trip. It’s a big mess though! I hate the pre-written categories. Would love to try this!

I use a coupon binder…I ran out of tabs though…I definitely need to figure out a different way to categorize my coupons!

I keep mine in a not so good organizer, but I go through the ads then pull out the coupons I need for my list and attach them to my list so I won’t forget them.

I use a small, square tupperware container to hold the majority of my coupons, but I’ve had to supplement it with a small accordion-style coupon folder for target/rite-aid coupons and other assorted store and restaurant coupons. I could use a new system :)

I have two accordion plastic holders. They each have their dividers labeled but I need to break them down even more so this would be fantastic!

I use an accordian folder. It works pretty well but I’d love to give this a try.

I store coupons in a index card box. It is a little much to lug around sometimes but makes locating the right coupon a breeze.

As a virgin to the coupon world ;) I use the trusty white envelope, NOT easy when you are at publix with BOTH kiddies. I would LOVE to win one of these organizers

I use a binder with page inserts that I throw the coupons in. It worked in the beginning, but now I am overwhelmed. There has to be a better way!

I sort my coupons with a coupon binder that I got at Target for $1.00. It does the job but I need a more advance one as I tend to let my coupons expire and also there is not enough tabs to sort the coupons. Thanks!

I use an older version of the Couponizer. But it is showing it’s age and I sure could use a new one!

What a great offer. I’m struggling between your method of keeping inserts whole, the difference between newpaper inserts regionally and a notebook full of coupon holders. Can’t seem to find the method that works for me yet. Help please.
