I’m happy to say I was totally pleased with the Red Heart Valentine’s Straw and then some! Strawesome’s glass straws are beautiful, unique, and I love that they have a lifetime guarantee. That alone gives me the courage to consider buying one for each of my kids as well.

Oh my goodness…DD12 will not drink anything with out a straw at home! At least we can always identify which of the drinking glasses left out are hers!

We go through 12-15 straws a week for just her!!!!

We use 3 straws weekly, I was them and re-use. But they are the baby straws from the throw away cups!

We don’t go through any straws because I have a couple packs of reuseable ones from Target that were 90% off after Halloween. However, using straws is a great idea–even for adults. I don’t, although I should, because I love coffee, tea, and caffeinated drinks that wreak havoc on teeth. If you use a straw, you’ll avoid much of the coffee and tea stains on your teeth and the acid from sodas, which wear away teeth. Needless to say, I’d love these!

Gosh, I hardly ever use straws b/c they are disposable… but I’d use them if they were sweet glass!

I use about 8 to 10 straws a week. If we eat out, then that’s automatically 4 straws (my husband won’t use one, but the 3 kids and I insist on using one).

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
