Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

One of the most common questions I get about stockpiling is, “How do you manage your stockpile?” Frankly, this is something I still struggle with. My kitchen pantry is relatively small — certainly not large enough to house a stockpile that will sustain a family of seven. We have additional shelving, as well as an extra refrigerator and deep freezer in the garage, but I’ll admit that it’s difficult at best to keep tabs on everything.
So when Tiffany from Shelf Reliance asked if I’d be interested in trying one of their Cansolidator Pantry shelf units I jumped at the chance. Not only does it save space, but it also automatically rotates your stockpile, ensuring that products are used in the order of expiration. Furthermore, it alleviates the sometimes dangerous practice of stacking cans on top of each other. Have I ever told you about the time my husband dropped a can of peas on my bare pinky toe? Well, let’s just say it was not a pretty sight…
Now I just need to pick up a few more Cansolidator units to finish organizing. Luckily Tiffany has a great deal for us:
This week only, Tiffany is offering Deal Seeking Mom readers an exclusive 52% discount on the Cansolidator Pantry. Enter coupon code Save1 at checkout, which will bring the price per unit down to $21.49!

Ugh. The hardest part of organizing those darn cans is keeping them in sight, so you don’t have to move them around and mess them all up!!! LOL

I have a limited space, and they all drive me nuts. Bags, Boxes, and cans never seem to fit in there the right way so that everything gets in. I always have the odd thing sitting out or in another spot because of it.

I have 2 issues with organizing my pantry:
1. Not keeping like cans together…then I end up buyin what I already have.
2. Bags spilling their contents all over the shelf!

My 13 month old loves to grab cans and other staples out of my pantry. She gets such a kick out of examining the different “treasures” she finds in there, but cleaning up after her results in things getting put back haphazardly. I’d absolutely love one of these to help keep things organized!

My problem is organization. I would like to get more organized.

The hardest part is keeping everything where I can see it easily.

Hardest part of keeping my pantry organized is trying to figure out a place to put 2 liter bottles! They are too heavy for the shelves, sometimes too tall…. they hog up all the floor space.
Frieda
I could use something like that — my pantry is a disaster! And in trying to use what’s oldest first I make a bigger mess — HELP! : )

The hardest part of keeping the cupboards clean is the fact that the crumbs all end up hiding behind the cans because the kids throw the boxes of crackers, cereal, etc in the cupboard without closing the boxes.
Tara
I don’t have the space for a lot of cans and so I have to move stuff constantly to get to the other stuff!!! It is such a pain and I am always catching falling cans!
Amanda T
We struggle with bags and boxes–they tumble all over each other and invariably spill.
marcia
When I return from the store, I am always in a hurry and just dump everything in my pantry. Then when I am looking for something, I can’t find it.
Holly
I have to agree with Maggie. The hardest part is getting my husband to put things back where he found them!
