March 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

For infant shoes, I look for something soft-soled and easy to learn to walk in. For toddlers, something that’s not too stiff and the price is right.

I look for a flexible sole for infants. For toddlers, I want something a little tougher, but not too stiff. Always looking for good quality shoes at clearance prices.

probably price and if their cute. obviously they have to stay on, that’s the worst when they slip off their feet.

    Love, Love, LOVE Pedipeds.
I used to look for really cheap in toddler and infant shoes and then I would buy a couple cute styles. THEN I found Pedi Peds and although they are a little more than I used to spend I only have to buy one or two pair because they are SO Stinking cute they go with everything!
I also look for durability! PediPeds LAST and they don’t show any wear, even the soft leather that they are! Even the velcro lasts… It doesn’t not loose it’s stickiness!
I look for comfort! Yes there are some really cute shoes out their BUT they CANNOT be comfortable for the little Tikes. I saw stilettos for infants they other day. The heel was soft but COME ON! The other reason I look for comfort is at about 1when kids start to take off their shoes you are going to WISH that you bought the, these shoes are so comfortable by little munchin doesn’t even know they are on shoes! They also need to have shoes that do NOT hinder walking but still protect those little tootsies! Pedi Peds are really soft leather but they aren’t ‘in the way for the pre walker’! They almost mold to the foot :-) Because they are natural leather they also breath which makes them a winner in the summer!
I HIGHLY recommend PediPeds After 5 kids they are the only shoes that touch those little tootsies for the 12-18 months of life!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
