March 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

pediped Footwear is one of the fastest growing children’s footwear brands in the United States. Launched in 2004, pediped carries three lines of child-friendly shoes. Their Originals are soft-soled shoes for children age 0-24 months. Their Flex line are flexible, rubber-soled shoes for children age 1-6 years. Finally, the Couture line features head-turning styles for your little princess. The new pediped Spring/Summer Collection introduces 60 new styles to the market.

Three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win one pair of pediped Originals for a boy or girl in the size of your choice. Style will be selected by the company from the new Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

  9. Tara

My little one has wide feet, so they have to be wide enough to fit her feet comfortably, and durable.

I have to say…I’ve been looking for ‘cute’ and ‘unique’ recently. Of course I want them to feel good but I really am bored with simple shoes. I can’t wear wacky fun shoes at my age…at least my daughter can!

I look for cute and that they will stay on! I have a 2 1/2 week old so she doesn’t walk yet :) but its hard to find shoes that stay on her feet.

I am a mother of a 14 month old daughter who has been walking for about 3 weeks. She is getting so good at it! Now, I am looking for shoes that are comfortable and stay on her feet! She is getting really good at pulling them off! This brand looks good, I will check them out!

I look for leather uppers, flexible soles, durability, comfort, and a good brand that will last despite the wear and tear of a toddler!

I look for soft soles and wide bottoms. They shouldn’t pinch their toes as that deforms their feet. They should not have a heel and should look comfortable to wear. I also let them try them on and see if they like them or frown at me.

  22. Ashlee

    March 10, 2010 at 9:04 am

I look for shoes that my 7 month old can’t easily pull or kick off. And they have to be adorable, but that goes without saying.

  23. Angie W

    March 10, 2010 at 9:04 am

The thing I look for in kid’s shoes is that they fit over the instep without having to squirm and squish their foot. The little pull tab at the heel is great, too! And no laces – just elastic!

  25. Jenni M

    March 10, 2010 at 9:05 am

I look for soft, flexible shoes for my infants and toddlers. For the infants, I prefer shoes that can’t easily be taken off (and lost!)

  26. Jenni

    March 10, 2010 at 9:06 am

For my 10mo old baby boy, I look for shoes that have soft soles for his still-developing feet. But soft soles are useless if he can take them off quicker than I can put them on. I’ve played the on/off game too many times. I want shoes that I can get on him fairly easily and he can’t get off! I also like them to have enough grip on the bottom that he won’t slip and slide as he’s learning to walk on tile floors.

    March 10, 2010 at 9:07 am

I look for durable shoes with soft soles that don’t run big. I have a small little guy and his feet NEVER fit any shoes. I have heard of pediped and would LOVE to try them.

Top priority in shoes is comfort…style is 2nd, of course!

I look for support and durability in my son’s shoes. Cuteness is also factored in.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
