March 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

pediped Footwear is one of the fastest growing children’s footwear brands in the United States. Launched in 2004, pediped carries three lines of child-friendly shoes. Their Originals are soft-soled shoes for children age 0-24 months. Their Flex line are flexible, rubber-soled shoes for children age 1-6 years. Finally, the Couture line features head-turning styles for your little princess. The new pediped Spring/Summer Collection introduces 60 new styles to the market.

Three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win one pair of pediped Originals for a boy or girl in the size of your choice. Style will be selected by the company from the new Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

For my 6 month old I look for comfort, quality and style – and also for a shoe that can’t easily be kicked off! He just got his first pair of pedipeds and they are adorable. We love them!

I look for a good value – we don’t spend a lot on shoes when the baby is not walking yet. We invest in something good when they first start walking. After that if it’s an everyday shoe we look for good durability, quality and value (generally we spend more for good quality) but if it’s just for a special outfit they will wear on occasion we pick a less expensive one that matches and quality doesn’t matter as much. :)

Ease of putting them on – and particularly keeping them on! Also cost, as their little feet grow sooo fast…

Hi DSM, I’m already a subscriber. Thank you for all of the deals you share with us. With my husband in grad school, it amazes him all of the time how many deals I am able to find and how we are able to live on such a small income. Your blog makes it all possible. Thanks again.

What I look for when shopping for infant shoes is mostly aesthetics and fit. Babies don’t really “need” shoes before they’re walking, but they do look awfully cute. And if they don’t stay on, what’s the point? After they’re walking, I’m more concerned about the quality of the product, since any loose threads or unglued soles, etc. could pose a tripping hazard.

I look for fit and style. My daughter has wide, block-y feet, and pedipeds are one of the few brands that fit her well!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
