Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

As part of the relaunch of their Pregnancy & Parenting site, iVillage recently asked its readers to complete a Married Sex survey. Among the key findings were these interesting results:
- 63% of married women said they would prefer to catch up on an extra hour of sleep, watch a movie or read a book than have sex with their spouse
- 31% of women reported that they had a better sex life before marriage
- 14% of women have participated in sexting, while 17% have sent flirty email messages
- 44% of women said the quality of their sex life has not changed since having kids
- 23% of women have sex 1 to 3 times a month

Take turns babysitting with your friends so you can have a night free and they can too! Doesn’t cost you anything for a sitter so you can have more money for dinner and movie.

Never, never, NEVER become too comfortable with your marriage. What I mean is, don’t change what you did in the beginning just because you know that he/she will love you no matter what. If you did your nails every week and that’s something that he loved, keep doing it! Men, if you opened every door she went through in the beginning, you better not stop. And ladies, still be just as appreciative of his chivalry as you were in the beginning. At least that’s what me and my husband love about the other.

We women are always focusing on our kids and life, but it is important to take time for your spouse who so often gets forgotten. Or we are just plain “too pooped to pop”. So always go the extra mile when he wants alone time, and you’ll be glad you did. Me and my husband always set “our” time each night to reconnect, that way the spark never goes…
