Friday night is pizza night around here. Some weeks it’s takeout, sometimes homemade, and sometimes frozen, but no matter how it arrives at the table, pizza night is a weekly Kuczykowski family ritual that we all look forward to.

Last week I served new Freschetta FlatBread pizzas as our entree. Freschetta was kind enough to send our family an awesome pizza kit which included free coupons to sample Freschetta pizza, along with a pizza stone, pizza cutter, and an oven mitt to make our kitchen feel like a real Italian pizzeria. I’ve been coveting a pizza stone for some time now, so I was especially excited to prepare our FlatBread pizza with it.

Our pizza tastes run from simple to more exotic, as can be expected in a large family, so we decided to taste test the 5-Cheese, Pepperoni, and Roasted Garlic & Spinach varieties. Of course the cheese got the thumbs up from the kids, pepperoni appealed to my husband, and I especially loved the garlic. But one thing we all agreed upon is that the thin and crispy flatbread crust was what really makes this pizza special.

    We love pizza around here! Normally, it’s either Pizza King, Arni’s (both Midwest restaurants), but sometimes it’s frozen too! Pizza, movie, and the kids, good times!

    We have pizza at least once a week; we usually order delivery or often heat up whatever is in the freezer. We used to make our own pizza with a kit, but haven’t done so in a while, maybe it’s time to do that again!

    Because of budget cutbacks, we don’t have pizza night as often as we used to. On the nites we do, we sit in the living room and watch movies.

    Pizza & Movie night is AWESOME at our house. The kids (we have four – 2 married sons and 2 daughters at home) invite their friends. The number in attendance decides what kind of pizza we get. For just a few, I can do homemade. Sometimes we have Papa Murphy’s or sometimes we order from a local pizza store that has a 28 piece pizza. I try to keep liters of pop on hand (I stock up when prices are low), but we have done tea and lemonade also. Even tho’ seating is at a premium with a larger crowd, we still try and watch a movie. It is just a blast – the more, the merrier, I say!!

    We love Pizza night. We don’t have to cook, and our son loves having pizza. We like to watch a movie!

    There are just four of us in our family and my kids are in their upper teens – we won’t have many more years to enjoy pizza night with them. My daughter loves cheese sticks, so we usually play a card or board game, eat pizza and cheese sticks and listen to oldies on the radio. Good Times will make good memories.

    We have two pizzas: an “Everything Pizza” and a plain pizza, and we do share and talk and catch up. No movies, too much homework or we’re too sleepy!

    We have pizza every Friday night. Sometimes we do homemade pizza and the whole family, including my 3 year old gets to help make it! It is one of the few foods that the entire family actually likes so it’s nice to have everyone together, enjoying our creations and having some great family time!

    We have our pizza hot out of our pizza oven, usually once a week. We make 2..one with everything but those little fishies and the other with pepperoni’s. Sometimes we have chips with it or some fresh veggies like celery sticks, carrots, and califlower. Afterwards, we usually put a movie in the DVD player..we enjoy watching a lot of movies.

    On pizza night we do 2 pizzas. One with bacon green pepper & onion for my husband & one with extra cheese & mushrooms for me :)
