Friday night is pizza night around here. Some weeks it’s takeout, sometimes homemade, and sometimes frozen, but no matter how it arrives at the table, pizza night is a weekly Kuczykowski family ritual that we all look forward to.
Last week I served new Freschetta FlatBread pizzas as our entree. Freschetta was kind enough to send our family an awesome pizza kit which included free coupons to sample Freschetta pizza, along with a pizza stone, pizza cutter, and an oven mitt to make our kitchen feel like a real Italian pizzeria. I’ve been coveting a pizza stone for some time now, so I was especially excited to prepare our FlatBread pizza with it.
Our pizza tastes run from simple to more exotic, as can be expected in a large family, so we decided to taste test the 5-Cheese, Pepperoni, and Roasted Garlic & Spinach varieties. Of course the cheese got the thumbs up from the kids, pepperoni appealed to my husband, and I especially loved the garlic. But one thing we all agreed upon is that the thin and crispy flatbread crust was what really makes this pizza special.

My family is very busy so on Pizza night we usually get a frozen pizza and eat on the back patio with cool drinks and enjoy the fresh air. After wards we have a bubble party and blow bubbles. My two girls love it!

We use EXTRA dough to make thick crust, and each person gets their own corner of the pizza with their favorite toppings. Always a fun night!

We don’t have a scheduled movie night. But it’s usually once every other week and sometimes it’s when it is my husband’s night to “cook” haha! Or after a rough day and I’m really tired, he will suggest pizza. We usually order it, but I will buy frozen pizza if I have a coupon. We always get thin crust and my husband loves bacon and chicken and I love ham & pineapple. My 11yo likes both, my 2yo loves to eat the pineapples and my 1yo eats anything you put in front of her! Then we get the babies to bed and watch TV or a movie together.

My son is only 9 months old so no pizza yet for him but my hubby and I usually just watch tv while eating pizza. We do like to have friends over so everyone can make their own pizzas. It’s a fun change from ordering out.. and much nicer to our wallet!
