Friday night is pizza night around here. Some weeks it’s takeout, sometimes homemade, and sometimes frozen, but no matter how it arrives at the table, pizza night is a weekly Kuczykowski family ritual that we all look forward to.

Last week I served new Freschetta FlatBread pizzas as our entree. Freschetta was kind enough to send our family an awesome pizza kit which included free coupons to sample Freschetta pizza, along with a pizza stone, pizza cutter, and an oven mitt to make our kitchen feel like a real Italian pizzeria. I’ve been coveting a pizza stone for some time now, so I was especially excited to prepare our FlatBread pizza with it.

Our pizza tastes run from simple to more exotic, as can be expected in a large family, so we decided to taste test the 5-Cheese, Pepperoni, and Roasted Garlic & Spinach varieties. Of course the cheese got the thumbs up from the kids, pepperoni appealed to my husband, and I especially loved the garlic. But one thing we all agreed upon is that the thin and crispy flatbread crust was what really makes this pizza special.

    Pizza night is Sunday night, so we grab a few slices and sit down to enjoy Extreme Makeover Home Edition (and usually cry). :)

    our friday pizzas nights vary- homemade, store bought, or take out- the only thing constant is that there is pizza and that the whole family is coming over :)

    On pizza night we put our girls to bed, pour a glass of wine and eat our pizza and watch the Home shows on Home and Garden TV.

    I like to make my own Fajita Pizza or Pepperoni Pizza but a good part of the time we order in. Pizza nights tend to be when I have something going on and the hubby has to cook! Its always nice to have a backup plan for days that I’m super busy too. And the kids, well… what kid doesn’t like pizza?!

    We have pizza and movie night either on a Saturday night. We also grab some popcorn and candy just like going to the theatre:)

    we combine pizza night with a movie and usually do it on Friday or Saturday night, that way we aren’t in a rush to get everyone in bed for school and work the next day. we can relax and enjoy each others company!
