Friday night is pizza night around here. Some weeks it’s takeout, sometimes homemade, and sometimes frozen, but no matter how it arrives at the table, pizza night is a weekly Kuczykowski family ritual that we all look forward to.

Last week I served new Freschetta FlatBread pizzas as our entree. Freschetta was kind enough to send our family an awesome pizza kit which included free coupons to sample Freschetta pizza, along with a pizza stone, pizza cutter, and an oven mitt to make our kitchen feel like a real Italian pizzeria. I’ve been coveting a pizza stone for some time now, so I was especially excited to prepare our FlatBread pizza with it.

Our pizza tastes run from simple to more exotic, as can be expected in a large family, so we decided to taste test the 5-Cheese, Pepperoni, and Roasted Garlic & Spinach varieties. Of course the cheese got the thumbs up from the kids, pepperoni appealed to my husband, and I especially loved the garlic. But one thing we all agreed upon is that the thin and crispy flatbread crust was what really makes this pizza special.

    Our pizza nights consist of looking through coupons for the best pizza deals for our family. My boys must be growing because they’re eating like crazy…got to get the best deal of pizzas to afford to feed those 2! :)

    We save our best Netflix arrival or whatever tv show we’ve been too busy to watch that week for Saturday night pizza. Most of the time we get a Freschetta pepperoni (and I’m not just saying that because of the sponsor- it really is one of our favorites and often coupon-able) and my husband takes all the pepperoni off my half before baking it. That way he gets a pepperoni pizza and I get cheese, just the way we like it!

    We like to do a pizza of some sort once a week, but they day varies. So does the pizza, actually. Our current favorite is tortilla pizzas (topped with black beans, salsa, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese).

    Always pizza & a newly released DVD! My fave is spinach & I’d add mushrooms to the Freschetta pizzza! YUM.

    Our family is usually pretty busy on pizza night and it means mom is short on time and needs to mow the lawn or something.

    Every Monday night our 4 year old daughter has t-ball practice. After practice we always come home and pop a Brick Oven Freschetta Cheese pizza in the oven. We love it.

    I get my fill of pizza as a volunteer youth leader with my church. And I sometimes end up taking leftovers home. Right now, I probably have the equivalent of three large pizzas in my freezer just waiting for me to take them to work for lunch or pull them out when I need a quick dinner.
