Friday night is pizza night around here. Some weeks it’s takeout, sometimes homemade, and sometimes frozen, but no matter how it arrives at the table, pizza night is a weekly Kuczykowski family ritual that we all look forward to.

Last week I served new Freschetta FlatBread pizzas as our entree. Freschetta was kind enough to send our family an awesome pizza kit which included free coupons to sample Freschetta pizza, along with a pizza stone, pizza cutter, and an oven mitt to make our kitchen feel like a real Italian pizzeria. I’ve been coveting a pizza stone for some time now, so I was especially excited to prepare our FlatBread pizza with it.

Our pizza tastes run from simple to more exotic, as can be expected in a large family, so we decided to taste test the 5-Cheese, Pepperoni, and Roasted Garlic & Spinach varieties. Of course the cheese got the thumbs up from the kids, pepperoni appealed to my husband, and I especially loved the garlic. But one thing we all agreed upon is that the thin and crispy flatbread crust was what really makes this pizza special.

    We make our own pizza and split it into sections for each member of our family. My kids don’t like the cheese, so we make a section without cheese for them!

    I make our pizzas every Friday. I usually use one of two recipes I have on my blog, but our favorite one to use is the pizza hut clone recipe because it makes enough dough to give us bread sticks on the side lol.

    Friday is good pizza night for us to start off a great weekend and end the work week. could not get the coupon.

    Usually I have my two boys help me make homemade pizza. Sometimes we get a frozen one or carryout.

    Friday night my husband usually kick back, watch a movie and enjoy a carry-out pizza. It’s a time to unwind from a busy week and reconnect with each other.

    On pizza night we think of creative ways to cure pizza burn on the roof of our mouths. Plus we make homemade breadsticks.

    Our family is like yours Tara, sometimes we do homemade, sometimes, frozen and occasionally there is a great deal and we order in. We usually rent from redbox although we have been known to play Life or Monopoly Deal. The only thing guaranteed is together time during family night.

    I’ve been hesitant to enter the Freshetta giveaways because my family has not been a fan of the texture of Freshetta crust in the past(doughy and undercooked) but since this is flatbread and everyone deserves another chance I went ahead and entered. Thanks for the giveaway!

    Our “pizza night” is Saturday lunch. We’ve been doing that since we got married. A no stress, minimal mess lunch while we plan our weekend.

    Our pizza night is usually on Sunday and we always catch up on tv shows we have recorded during the week while we eat. We love pizza and would love to try the new flat bread crust.

    We love to get creative and make our own stuff crust whole wheat pizza. I found a wicked awesome recipe from real simple a few years ago and we have never loooked back. Philly calzones are a favorite around here too!
