Friday night is pizza night around here. Some weeks it’s takeout, sometimes homemade, and sometimes frozen, but no matter how it arrives at the table, pizza night is a weekly Kuczykowski family ritual that we all look forward to.

Last week I served new Freschetta FlatBread pizzas as our entree. Freschetta was kind enough to send our family an awesome pizza kit which included free coupons to sample Freschetta pizza, along with a pizza stone, pizza cutter, and an oven mitt to make our kitchen feel like a real Italian pizzeria. I’ve been coveting a pizza stone for some time now, so I was especially excited to prepare our FlatBread pizza with it.

Our pizza tastes run from simple to more exotic, as can be expected in a large family, so we decided to taste test the 5-Cheese, Pepperoni, and Roasted Garlic & Spinach varieties. Of course the cheese got the thumbs up from the kids, pepperoni appealed to my husband, and I especially loved the garlic. But one thing we all agreed upon is that the thin and crispy flatbread crust was what really makes this pizza special.

    We either heat up a frozen pizza or use a prebaked crust to make our own. Then add a salad and either watch a movie or play Wii.

    For my husband and I, pizza night sometimes comes more than once a week. :S It’s my go-to when I’m not inspired. Usually it’s a frozen pizza – Freschetta’s our favorite actually! But on special nights we run out for Papa Johns. Yum!

    Our pizza night is when we are too busy to do anything else! We wind up standing over the box at the kitchen counter or on the floor in front of the TV after a long day.

    Pizza night is a lifesaver night. The whole family is happy and it doesn’t break the budget (homemade or using good coupons and sales). It seems everyone is more relaxed and family time is just all around happier! Thanks for the chance. I have never tried this brand.

    We have pizza night once a week too. Usually on a Friday or Saturday night when we are tired of cooking all week.

    We don’t really do anything special when we eat pizza. I think it’s because we love it so much and eat it so often! I do like to enjoy it when I’m watching something special on tv. We’ll probably have pizza for the series finally of Lost that is quickly approaching.

    My family loves pizza night! we order from our second favorite pizza place (donato’s is our first, but we are stationed in texas- lol) and then we will watch a dvd picked out by our kids.

    WE like to make our own then everyone gets to help, my 21 month old daughter loves doing it!! otherwise we get frozen, no pizza delivery near me! which i hate! we then either hang out and play toys as she isnt too big on movies yet or we go out and visit the inlaws.

    On our pizza night we usually do store bought pizza and a movie. It gives me a break from cooking and we are having family time sitting together watching a good movie. I love to kick back and relax and snuggle with my boys.

    We waiver between ordering in pizza when I’m too tired to cook and the other times my husband makes his famous Jimmie Pizza. Though I’ll be honest, we have been buying freschetta lately because it doesn’t cook up like cardboard. We like it and would love to win this. Thank you.

    Pizza night is usually a night we have something else going on, like a baseball game. It is easy to prepare or order for a busy night.

    we usually order gourmet pizza from around the corner but recently ive been on low carb and weve been making our own pizza with cauliflower crust. its delicious. really.

    Pizza night is usually on Saturday, we are so beat from a day of peewee sports that the easiest thing to do is throw a few frozen pies into the oven and rent a movie from redbox (i especialy like when we have a free rentel code). its a great time for the entire family to relax around the TV and enjoy eachothers company!!!!!!!!

    We usually just relax, watch TV and it’s usually a Fridaiy for us as well. No one feels like cooking after a long work week!
